Founded in February 2026, the Creatives Society has grown to represent the diverse creative community of the University of Sunderland. We aim to unite students across every campus and course who enjoy creating in any form to collaborate, network, learn, and grow in a supportive, inclusive space.

Do I have to study a creatives course to become a member?

No, we welcome anyone with creative interests, hobbies, or curiosity.

Can I still join as a graduate?

Absolutely! Alumni memberships are available so you can still enjoy everything the society offers.

Do I need experience or skills?

No experience needed. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned creative, you’re welcome.

What kind of creative activities do you do?

Group study, workshops, creative walks, group projects, socials events, networking events and more.

Do you run events for different creative disciplines?

Yes, we support all creative forms, from design and illustration to writing, film, craft, and beyond.
