It’s that time of year again when we celebrate and recognise all the students who have made outstanding contributions to the student experience at Sunderland!
Nominations are now open so keep an eye out for individuals or groups that you feel need to be recognised.

In order to promote fairness and remain impartial, nominations will be judged solely based on the quality of the nomination – so we strongly advise that you write detailed reasons why and include as much information as necessary. They will be shortlisted by our impartial panel.
Please consider nominating any individuals or groups (including yourself or your own) that have stood out to you in the past year. One detailed nomination that focuses on quality is much better than ten nominations that are only a few words long! As such, to encourage quality nominations (rather than quantity), there will be a minimum character count of 250.
Your Awards 2026 ceremony will take place on Tuesday 12th May 2026.
