Your SU Advice Service is an impartial team of trained and experienced advisors, who can provide free, confidential and non-judgmental advice on a range of academic issues you may be facing.
It is available to all students and is completely independent from the University, meaning the team can advise you without any risk of bias or unfairness. Below are some of academic areas they can support you with.
Our Advice team deals with a wide range of issues, so if you are unsure if they can help, just get in touch. If more appropriate support for your query is available elsewhere, the team will direct you to the right place.
You can email the team via su.advice@sunderland.ac.uk or you can book an appointment. Appointments are available in person, online and over the phone.
If there are no available appointment slots showing, our advisors are fully booked at that time. When this happens, more appointment slots will soon be released, so we advise checking again the following day. Please email su.advice@sunderland.ac.uk if you have any questions or concerns.
