Hey there! Can you believe it's already November? Time sure flies when you're having a blast, and boy, did we have a blast in October! Let's take a moment to reflect on all the excitement, fun, and positivity that made our campus come alive.
First and foremost, we kicked off October by marking Depression and Mental Health Awareness Month. Your mental health is vital, and we're here to support you, wherever you’re at. Our vibrant and lovable Hugs Bunny hopped around the campus, spreading joy and brightening up the days of students and staff. Who wouldn't smile at the sight of a cuddly bunny? The prize wheel was also turning, and students had a chance to win fantastic gifts, including a sweet 10% discount on some merch. Freebies, anyone?
We also had various wellbeing companies on campus, sharing insights, tips, and advice to help you feel your absolute best. And of course, our very own Health and Wellbeing team was there to offer their support.

We were delighted to host our first Nigerian Independence Day Celebration at the beginning of the month.
Then, the Mini Cultural Festival was an absolute feast for your senses. A culinary journey around the world, it treated us to a variety of mouth-watering cuisines. Plus, who could forget the blender bikes? Students and staff pedalled their way to deliciousness, making their own scrumptious smoothies with their stationary cycling. Exercise and tasty treats all in one – a win-win!
Freshers, we didn't forget about you either. The Welcome Fair was filled with freebies and surprises, to help you feel right at home. A little taster of the journey that awaits you during your time here.
And because your mental wellbeing is so important to us, we rounded off this fantastic month with a relaxing "Painting your worries away" session. What better way to de-stress after a hectic week? Plus, for those of you who prefer to stretch your worries away, we had invigorating Pilates classes on offer.
