AIP Focus Group
The University of Sunderland is launching an ambitious three-year project to evaluate assessment across the entire university, including online and overseas, looking at how asessment helps to further the education of students.
“Our focus is on assessment for learning, assessment that contributes to helping students learn; that closely integrates teaching and learning with assessment. Key to this is authenticity – assessment that is relevant to students’ future employment, their individual aspirations and the challenges within their discipline. We are also taking onboard the implications of generative artificial intelligence, to ensure our assessment practices remain robust.”

This focus group is an opportubnity for students to give their feedback on assessment in an impartial and confidential space.

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
