It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to your President: London, Felicia, as she begins her new chapter in an exciting role in her career progression.
Felicia was elected to represent the interest of students at the University of Sunderland in London back in March. Since she commenced her role in July, Felicia has worked with the University on fee instalment plans, academic misconduct reviews, partnership with local industries, additional training for students to put them ahead in their careers and creating a vibrant place for students to be on campus.
We are so proud of everything Felicia has achieved, and we have no doubt she will continue to bring her brilliant energy and innovative ideas to all her future roles.
Felicia said: “I am incredibly honoured to have been your voice and served as your Students’ Union President. It’s been a privilege to represent and work alongside such passionate students. It was a fantastic journey with your enthusiasm, vibes and beaming smiles you always brought to the SU space. This role has not only allowed me to contribute to positive change on campus, but it’s also been a huge boost to my employability, developing my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
If you're passionate about making a difference and want to build your career while serving your peers, I encourage you to consider running to be an Officer in 2025! It’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and leave a lasting impact on the student community, just as I have!”
