Update on More Flexible Payment Plans for Self-Funded Students

As we continue along our journey to secure more flexible payment plan options for self-funded students at the University of Sunderland, I wanted to share the progress we are making towards the initiative and also to appreciate students for your continued support and advocacy for the campaign.

Since we have demonstrated the huge amount of student support through the collection of signatures, I have been meeting with key university stakeholders, Your SU, and beyond, in order to make sure that the implementation of a more flexible plan goes ahead and places self-funded students at the top of priorities.

At this point, positive progress has been made, and we are continuing to engage in consultation with the University Finance Team. We appreciate everyone's support and understanding that this is a long-term process, and we will make sure more progress is communicated to our students as developments unfold. We are eagerly anticipating further developments next week.

Thank you for demonstrating just how important this is for students, and for the expressed sacrifice and commitment towards the movement in securing a more flexible payment plan for self-funded students.
